Finding a suitable lawyer usually depends on referrals and offline searches, which is slow and uncertain. Customers often cannot tell whether a lawyer is verified, practises in the right area of law, or is close enough to meet. GOG wanted one platform that removes that guesswork and keeps the whole case, from the first request to closure, in one place.
The platform also had to balance three groups of users. Customers needed a simple way to describe their case and find help. Lawyers needed a fair, structured way to receive and manage requests. Administrators needed full control over verification, users and content, without being able to read private conversations.
There were technical demands too. The same backend had to serve web portals and a mobile app. Chat had to work in real time and handle text, images, documents, audio and video. Uploaded images needed protection from misuse, and cases needed clear rules for requests that are never answered or cases that stay open too long.

Vnerds built an Admin Web Portal, an Advocate Web Portal and the backend APIs that power the mobile app. Lawyers register in several steps, adding personal, professional, location, reference and document details, and sign in with OTP. Every new profile stays pending until an administrator verifies or rejects it, so only checked lawyers appear in search. Customers create a case with a description, documents or voice recordings, then find lawyers by practice area, location, Quick Match, manual search or an interactive map.
The selected lawyer can accept or decline, and unanswered requests expire after a configurable time. Once a lawyer accepts, both sides talk through real-time chat built on Socket.IO and Redis, with message status and push notifications through OneSignal.
Case closure is based on satisfaction from both sides. If the customer is not satisfied, the case goes back to lawyer matching instead of simply closing. Lawyers earn Silver, Gold or Platinum tiers through a performance scorecard based on their case activity and outcomes, which rewards responsive and reliable work.

Privacy and protection were central to the design. Role-based access separates what Admins, Advocates and Customers can see and do. Administrators can view chat metadata, such as who spoke and when, but never the message content. Uploaded images are watermarked on the server with Sharp, and React-i18next adds multi-language support so the platform can serve users across regions.
GOG now brings lawyer discovery, verification, case management and customer-lawyer communication into a single platform. Customers search only verified lawyers, lawyers receive structured requests instead of scattered calls, and administrators manage the whole marketplace from one portal while conversations stay private.
